Head coach Stephen Clarke has selected Nathan Brown, Alexander Dunn, Louie Green, Yusuf Ibraham, Michael Ihmig, Christopher Johnston, Ollie Johnstone, Aiden Martin, Ollie Masterton, Euan McCulloch, Finn McCulloch, Zac McWhinnie, Cody Mensing, Jaden Nish, Rory Philips, Zion Pullan, Lorenzo Sassetti, Liam Tonner, Kai Urban and Henry Verraed for the tournament.
The lineup reflects a spread across several clubs, with multiple players coming from Rangers and Celtic, while others arrive from clubs including Aberdeen, Dundee and Heart of Midlothian. For Scottish football, the tournament offers another early-stage international test for a youth group now preparing to play across four match dates in Italy.
What the tournament schedule means
The structure of the competition means Scotland’s first three games will determine their final match on 1 May. That makes the opening results especially important, with the team facing a short turnaround between fixtures and different opponents in different Italian venues.
The Torneo Delle Nazioni schedule places Scotland in a compact group format that will quickly reveal how this Under-15 squad handles travel, recovery and consecutive international matches. For Scottish football, it is a chance to measure the next generation against overseas opposition in a tournament setting.
Immediate focus before the first whistle
Clarke’s selection is now set, and the immediate task is simple: settle quickly, adapt to the schedule and take the opening game against Montenegro into the right rhythm. Scottish football will be watching how this group starts, because the first result in Teor will shape the rest of the week.
With Slovenia and North Macedonia still to come, and a final fixture depending on the early standings, Scotland’s Under-15s enter the tournament with little margin for error and plenty to play for in Italy.
