The studio also plans to add easy, normal, and hard difficulty options, giving players a clearer choice in how they approach the game’s combat and progression.
New Skills, Storage Options, and Visual Updates
Beyond combat adjustments, the crimson desert patch will expand the playable roster with new skills for Damiane and Oongka. Pearl Abyss also says it is preparing new storage options, hidden stowed weapons, new clothing, and additional mounts, pets, and armor for mounts.
The studio is also working on improvements to distant backgrounds so players can see Pywel’s landscapes in greater depth. Pearl Abyss noted that the patch size may be larger because of changes to distant scenery and rendering quality under different conditions.
