Metallica have added two November dates at mohegan sun arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, marking a late-year run that will close out the band’s 2026 touring schedule. The shows are set for Nov. 19 and Nov. 21, with different special guests on each night and a ticket rollout timed for early April ET.
Two Nights, Two Openers At Mohegan Sun Arena
The band will play the first of the two concerts on Nov. 19 with Suicidal Tendencies as the special guest. Spiritbox will open on Nov. 21, giving the second night a separate lineup and reinforcing the No Repeat Weekend format the band has used on major runs.
Metallica said in a press release: “Just as we’re getting ready to head out on the road for the first shows of ’26, we’ve added two more gigs to the calendar to wrap up the year. ” The two concerts at mohegan sun arena are described as the band’s only non-Sphere U. S. shows of 2026.
Ticket Windows Open In Early April ET
Single-day and 2-day tickets will go on sale April 10 at 10 a. m. ET. Fans who want to buy at the Mohegan Sun Box Office will be able to do so beginning April 11. Fifth Members will get a presale starting April 8 at 10 a. m. ET, with a code provided through Ticketmaster.
The announcement places the Connecticut dates alongside a packed 2026 schedule that begins May 9 in Athens, Greece, continues through European and U. K. dates until July 5, and then pauses before the band’s first Las Vegas Sphere performance on Oct. 1. Metallica said the Sphere run has been extended into 2026 and now includes 24 total shows.
Mohegan Sun Arena Marks A Milestone
Metallica’s statement also tied the shows to the venue’s 25th anniversary. The band said it is honored to help celebrate the milestone, noting the arena’s long list of artists and the more than 3, 000 events staged there over 25 years.
