Alexander Brothers Found Guilty on All Counts in Sex-Trafficking Trial

The alexander brothers — Tal, 39; Oren, 38; and their brother Alon, 38 — were found guilty by a New York jury of drugging and raping dozens of women, including convictions for sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor. After a five-week trial in New York, jurors returned guilty verdicts on all 10 criminal counts, concluding prosecutors’ claims that the brothers used their wealth to lure women to parties and luxury homes and then drugged and assaulted them. Sentencing is scheduled for 6 August (ET), and the brothers could face up to life in prison.

Alexander Brothers: Verdict and Charges

A jury in New York found all three defendants guilty on all 10 counts listed by prosecutors, including sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor. Prosecutors presented evidence they say showed the men surreptitiously put drugs in women’s drinks, physically restrained victims during assaults and ignored explicit requests to stop. Jurors were shown a video that prosecutors said depicted an assault on a 17-year-old in a Manhattan apartment.

Testimony and Prosecutors’ Case

Eleven women testified during the trial, including several who said they were minors at the time of the incidents. Prosecutors argued the brothers used gifts, flights and access to parties and luxury properties to lure victims, then fed them drugs before assaulting them. Assistant US Attorney Andrew Jones (U. S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York) said the defendants committed crimes “without remorse” and with “callousness” and “a perverse sense of pride. “

Immediate Reactions, Context, and What’s Next

US Attorney Jay Clayton (Southern District of New York) called the verdict “an important step in our fight against sex trafficking, ” and said the jury saw the defendants’ conduct as “calculated, brutal sexual abuse that, unimaginably, the defendants celebrated. ” Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo, identified as a lawyer for Oren Alexander, said the men were “not drugging them, they’re not raping them, but they’re certainly pursuing them. ” Agnifilo added it was “not the verdict we were looking for, but we’re going to keep fighting. “

Background in the case notes the brothers rose to prominence selling luxury real estate in New York and Miami and that the trial lasted five weeks. During the proceedings a new allegation surfaced in a separate civil suit involving a named real estate figure who said she had been assaulted in New York in 2024; a lawyer for one defendant described that civil claim as a “demonstrably false lawsuit for maximum media impact. “

The next stage is sentencing on 6 August (ET), when federal penalties will be set and the legal record will move to post-verdict filings by both prosecution and defense. The alexander brothers now face the court’s determination of punishment and the defense has signaled it will continue its legal challenge following the verdict.
