In practical terms, Apple Music now surfaces ticket options across several areas: a homepage carousel highlighting nearby concerts tied to listening habits, a dedicated Concerts Tab for browsing events, and Artist Pages that show concert listings and a badge indicating when an artist is on tour. Apple Music also said it will send push notifications to alert fans when their favorite artists are performing nearby.
The deeper link to Ticketmaster also means that when a user sees a concert or event listing in Apple Music, they can tap a “Get Tickets” button to purchase tickets directly. Apple Music framed this as an expansion of an existing relationship across Apple’s ecosystem, where Ticketmaster already powers event listings in Maps, Spotlight Search, Photos, and Shazam.
